Kabila calls on fans to fill up Nkana Stadium

Nkana FC supremo, Evaristo Kabila is passionately calling upon the soccer fraternity to come and be the twelveth player, when the club hosts Ivorian side FC San Pedro.

Nkana returning to continental football, had a short dance in the CAF champions league, but fail short of making it to the lucrative group stages of that tournament. But got a lifeline, when they dropped to the lesser fancied CAF Confederation Cup. All the same its a huge platform to show case the prowess that Nkana possess as they slowly push to reclaim the status as the top top club in Zambia.

In the quest to make the paying public have a way into the Stadium, the Nkana boss told participants of thwle group on the evening, that the executive has listened to the owners of the game (fans) and have since decided to bring down the gate charges. For the open wing that was initially pegged at K40.00 the fans will now just folk out the half of that.

Asked about the lack of goals and his thoughts about the showing against Simba of Tanzania in the Champions League. Kabila said he was in the stadium at the stadium and the reception they got from Simba was very hostile.

“I don’t think we need to blame the technical bench, lets also remember that the officiating in that game was so biased,” said Evaristo Kabila.

Nkana take on FC San Pedro this coming Saturday in the Pre Group Stage of the CAF Confederation Cup for the first leg before a trip to Ivory Coast for the second leg in a weeks’ time.
