Jean-Marc Makusu has officially departed Congolese side AS Vita switching to Morocco’s RS Berkane starting from the upcoming 2019/2020 season.
Makusu had joined AS Vita in the 2018 January transfer window after spending a year through the ranks of Wadi Degla. Makusu made only 10 appearances for the club in the CAF Champions League including five in the this season’s edition.
The 26-year-old striker had a stupendous campaign last season when he finished AS Vita’s Confederations Cup run having scored 44 goals across all competitions and was the Confederations Cup top scorer.
“Jean-Marc Makusu have signed for RS Berkane of Morocco on a three-year deal. The fixed transfer amount is $486,436K and he will earn the sum of $35K per month,” AS Vita statement read.
“After the end of the Congolese league for season 2018/2019 he will join the club. Good luck to Jean-Marc Makusu and thanks for the services rendered in our club.”
