Zambian moneybags Buildcon finally saw their investment pay dividends after they booked a maiden appearance into the CAF Confederation Cup.
A barren draw against Power Dynamos yesterday was enough to seal 2nd place in stream for the Ndola based side. This can be looked at as a great achievement for a team who only came into existence only 7 years ago.
Head Coach Srdjan Zivojnav admitted that it was not easy but proud to be playing continental football for the first time. He adds that the team needs reinforcement to be ready
“Definitely, I will be sitting with the club officials to discuss about going into the market to get new players because this is not enough,” Zivojnav said.
Buildcon owner Moses Mubanga has heavily invested in both players and the coaching staff to bring the club where it is now.
It will be interesting to see which approach Team Kopala will take in the window.
All the best to Buildcon FC.
