Burundi coach Alain Olivier Niyungeko has revealed his 23 man squad for AFCON 2019 with a notable inclusion being Saido Berahino of English side Stoke City and Gaël Bigirimana who plays for Scottish side Hibernian.
Others making the cut are Zambian Super Division trio, Laudit Mavugo of Napsa Stars, Enock Nsabumukama Zesco United and Arthur Mac Arakaza, Buildcon
Niyungeko has led Burundi to qualify for their first ever Africa Cup of Nations after finishing second in Group C behind Mali.
Burundi are drawn in Group B alongside Guinea, Nigeria and fellow debutants Madagascar. They open their Afcon campaign against the Super Eagles of Nigeria on Sunday 22nd June 2019 with kickoff set at 20:00 East African Time.
