Nkana Football Club have announced that they have re-signed Congolese striker Idriss Mbombo from Al Hilal Omdurman of Sudan.
The Club said in a statement that Mbombo has signed a two year contract with the Kitwe giants after being cleared by FIFA to rejoin his former club.
“We are happy to announce that Idriss Mbombo has officially rejoined Nkana on a two year deal. It is great to have him back,” Chief Executive Officer Charles Chakatazya said.
He added, “Mbombo is a great addition to the squad and comes back with a lot of experience.”
Mbombo Unilaterally terminated his contract with Al Hilal Omdurman FC the Club he joined in October 2018 after a short stint with Nkana.
In his time with Nkana, Mbombo scored 26 goals in all competitions.
