Klabu ya soka ya TP Mazembe ya Jamhuri ya Kidemokrasia ya Congo imefuzu katika hatua ya nusu fainali ya klabu bingwa barani Afrika CAF, baada ya kupata ushindi mkubwa wa mabao 5 kwa 0 dhidi ya klabu ya Moghreb Tetoun ya Morocco katika mchuano muhimu uliochezwa siku ya Jumamosi mjini Lubumbashi.
Mshambuliaji wa Kimataifa Mbwana Samatta raia wa Tanzania aliifungia Mazembe mabao matatu huku Rainford Kalaba kutoka Zambia na Roger Assale kutoka Cote Dvoire nao wakitikisa nyavu mara moja.
TP Mazembe imemaliza kundi la A ikiongoza kwa alama 11 mbele ya Al Hilal ya Sudan ambayo pia imefuzu katika hatua ya nusu fainali kwa alama 9 baada ya kutoka sare ya bao 1 kwa 1 na Smouha ya Misri.
Mabingwa hao wa mwaka 2010 sasa watachuana na Al Merrikh ya Sudan ambayo ilifuzu siku ya Ijumaa baada ya kumaliza katika kundi la B kwa alama 13, nyumba ya USM Alger iliyomaliza ya kwanza kwa alama 15.
Al-Hilal ya Sudan nayo itachuana na US Alger katika nusu fainali.
Michuano ya nusu fainali itachezwa kuanzia mwishoni mwa mwezi huu kabla ya mchuano wa marudiano mapema mwezi Oktoba.
Mabingwa watetezi wa taji hili, ES Setif ya Algeria ilibanduliwa katika hatua ya makundi.
