CAF Confed Cup: Buildcon suffer home defeat to Young Buffaloes

CAF Confederation Cup debutants Buildcon FC fairytale journey in the competition has begun on a rather sour note after suffering a 0-1 home defeat at the hands Young Buffaleos of eSwatini at the Levy Mwanawasa.

Buildcon caretaker coach Tenant Chembo was looking to get to a winning start in front of a home crowd but it was the visitors from the South who ran away with the precious away goal advantage.

Mpendulo Dlamini scored the only goal on 42 minute to give the visitors a precious win going into the second league.

Buildcon FC has to score away in eSwatini by more than one goal if they want to make to the second round of the Preliminary stage.
