By Robert Matakanye,
Mario Booysen is expected to sign a deal with a new club as he looks to further his career.
Following his exit from Kaizer Chiefs at the end of last season, Booysen has recently been seen training with Amazulu under coach Josef Vukusic
The former Kaizer Chiefs defender Mario Booysen landed on the coast of KwaZulu-Natal in his pursuit for a new club.
The journeyman spent a season at Amakhosi, where his involvement with the first team gradually waned.
He was released ahead of the 2019/20 campaign, and has been a free agent since.
After an unsuccessful trial with the newly-promoted Stellenbosch FC, the ex-Mamelodi Sundowns man is now trying his luck with another PSL outfit, in Durban-based AmaZulu.
Indications from sources close to the Kwazulu. Natal club is that the 31 year
old central defender has impressed the coach with his work rate in training.
Amazulu is considering offering Booysen a contract. The player has done well in
training and the club is keen on signing him”said the source.
