Liverpool’s Senegalese forward Sadio Mane has been named as the English Premier League Player of the Month for November.
The Senegal international has enjoyed a meteoric rise in recent seasons and was rewarded for his superb run of form with a fourth place finish at the 2019 Ballon d’Or.
Having played an important role in the Reds run to the Uefa Champions League crown last season, Mane has built on that success and looks even better than he did in the previous campaign as Liverpool aim to finally end their league drought.
Mane has played an integral part in the club’s unbeaten run in the league, and has already scored 13 goals this season. He has assisted a further eight goals in 22 appearances across all competitions, with 15 of his goal contributions coming in 15 Premier League games.
The 27-year-old scored three goals in four games last month, helping the Merseyside club to four successive wins as they maintained an eight-point lead atop the league standings.
In total, Mane has scored 72 goals in 145 games for Liverpool since joining the club from Southampton three years ago.
