ZESCO United will take on Zamalek in the CAF Champions League Group A match on Saturday.
The match is set to be played at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in the city of Ndola.
ZESCO remain winless in the group stage after losing 2-1 to DR Congolese giants TP Mazembe in their previous game in the competition.
The Zambian champions are currently placed third on the group standings and a win over Zamalek will see them move up to second place on the log.
Their key player is Clement Mwape, who was on the score sheet in ZESCO’s 1-1 draw with CD Primeira de Agosto in their first Group A game.
Meanwhile, Zamalek recorded their first win in the group stage when they defeated Agosto 2-0 at home in their previous game in the competition.
The former Egyptian champions are sitting the second spot on the group standings and they will join Mazembe at the top of the log if they defeat ZESCO.
Achraf_Bencharki, who grabbed a brace in Zamalek’s win over Agosto, is the dangerman for the North African giants.
Ahmad Heeralall from Mauritius will be in charge of the match between ZESCO and Zamalek.
