The final 21 squad list of Harambee Starlets players headed to Turkey for the Alanya Gold City Cup has been finalized.
The team leaves for Istanbul on Tuesday and will play it’s opening game on Wednesday against Northern Ireland.
Regulars Jentrix Shikangwa, Dorcas Shikobe and Mwanahalima Adam lead the team whilst Cynthia Shilwatso who’s gearing up for a move to Spanish side EDF Logroño missing together with Elizabeth Katungwa who sales to be ommitted for personal reasons.
Chapa Dimba na Safaricom star Jane Njeri gets a place in the team.
Starlets have been pooled in group A against Northern Ireland whom they start with, Chile on Saturday and Uzbekistan on Tuesday next week.
Hungary, Venezuela, Hong Kong, Romania, and Turkmenistan are also expected to make an appearance at the tournament.
The tournament will be used as a dress rehearsal for the upcoming Africa Women’s Cup of Nations qualifiers against Tanzania in April.
