Zambian International striker Patson Daka says the decision taken to stop football was in the best interest of the human race as the World fights the Coronavirus pandemic.
The Redbull Salzburg man posted on his Facebook account an emotional message to all the people affected by the health crisis.
“I’m going to miss the feeling of being on the pitch every week with our fans, doing what I love BUT at this point nothing is more important than everyone’s health & safety, ” said Daka.
“That should always be first priority, a very positive decision taken by the football management boards.
“Together nothing is permanent, let’s follow the instructions given by WHO and all shall be well.
“Wishing all who are infected a quick recovery! My thoughts and prayers to you & yours.”
