Zambian Super Division side, Kabwe Warriors have announced today that they are suspending training until further notice due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus (Covid-19).
Three cases have been recorded in Zambia as of today as the Ministry of Health scrambles to ensure that the disease does not spread further.
“In line with Governments efforts in preventing the coronavirus and in compliance with guidance from the World Health Organization, the club has suspended training until a date to be advised,” a statement from the club read.
“The Club wishes to urge all its stakeholders to join the fight against this pandemic by observing the high hygienic practices and standards operations procedures issued by the Ministry of Health such as regular hand-washing with soap under running water and social distancing.
“The Health and security of the players, officials, partners and fans are our priority”
