Zambia Senior Men’s National Team coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic and his assistants Dusan Istojanovic, Oswald Mutapa, goalkeeper trainer Miroslav Itojinic, team manager Desmond M’ngawa got on with business in the background of the Covid-19 Threat.
Micho and his technical bench have designed a strategic plan that involves individualized training for players using video footage during the covid-19 threat.
The technical bench kicked off implementation and cross-checking of the program with various players and getting them ready when football resumes.
The Football Association of Zambia FAZ posted on their official Facebook page that the technical bench is tracking the players in video conferencing, Skype, Facebook and whatsupp interaction.
Football worldwide has been on hold as a result of the pandemic, which has taken nearly 20,000 lives to date.
Recently, CAF announced the postponement of the 2020 African Nations Championship (CHAN) indefinitely, after hosts Cameroon had requested the rescheduling of the biennial tournament.
