Gabon International Ibrahim Didier Ndong opened his scoring account in French league 1 as Lorient beat Monaco 3-2 away from home.

Ndong put Lorient in the lead 12 minutes into first half and Benjamin Jeannot stretched the lead to 2-0 before Monaco replied with 2 goals to restore parity.Cameron forward Moukandjo restored the lead to secure the spoils for the visitors in the latter stages of the game.

Before joining the French league 1 side,the 21 years old midfielder plied his trade in Tunisia with CS Sfaxien and won the 2013 CAF Confederation Cup with them.

Ibrahim was member of the Panthers at the previous edition of the African Cup of the nations in Equatorial Guinea.
