Benjamin Ayim has singled out Luka Modric, Andre Dede Ayew and Kevin De Bruyne as the three midfielders he wants to model his game after.
In an interview with Soka25east.com from his base in United Arab Emirates (UAE), he said:”Luka Modrić, Kevin De Bruyne and Dede Ayew. They’re all fighters, technically good, passing perfect etc.”
“Moreover, I have most of the qualities they’ve got, I just love them and I’ll love to be like them,” the 20 year-old added.
Luka Modric plays for La Liga top dogs, Real Madrid in Spain.
The 33 year-old Croatian has netted 15 goals in 222 matches across all competition so far. Also, he has won the UEFA Champions League, La Liga, Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup titles with La Blancos.
Andre Dede Ayew who is currently with Swansea City has played 47 times for the Championship outfit, netting 12 goals so far.
The 30 year-old midfielder led the Ghana U-20 Men’s Football team, Black Satellites to win the Africa Youth Championship and FIFA U-20 World Cup in Rwanda and Egypt in 2009 respectively.
Kevin De Bruyne plays for Manchester City in the English Premier League. So far, he’s bagged 31 goals from 143 games across all competition for the Citizens.
The Belgian, who is a midfielder has enjoyed cup success with the Manchester-based club; the Premier League titles, FA Cup, League Cups and Community Shield.
Benjamin Ayim began his footballing career at a tender age with Prampram Humble Black before moving to Nungua Young Kotoko – All colts football club (now defunct).
He, however, was scouted by Dreams Football Club because of his exceptional skills and talent but was moved to heir junior side, Still Believe FC.
Due to his hardwork and dedication, he was promoted to the senior side, Dreams FC by the technical handlers.
Currently, the midfielder plies his trade in the Arabian Gulf League with Al Dhafra.
