Kabwe Warriors star man Jimmy Beleki Ndhlovu has expressed excitement on the return of the FAZ MTN Super Division.
The striker says he is looking forward to get to play competitively again, “Its good to be be back. I missed playing with my teammates,” Ndhlovu said.
“These are difficult times but I am a quite happy that we can finally get back to the pitch again.”
FAZ recently announced that teams can return to training with a view to resuming the league on 18 July 2020.
All sporting activities in the country were suspended in mid-March following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
Players had to undergo special individualized training prepared for them during the period of inactivity. Ndhlovu believes the period spent doing individual training has helped keep him in shape though he had a few challenges.
“We have been inactive for a long time. It gave us enough time to rest. Personally, I have been training at home. Its difficult to stay in shape . The fitness level can’t be the same but I am doing my level best to ensure that I get back to 100 percent. I can’t wait to start scoring again.
“Of course it wont be the same playing in an empty stadium but we know our fans will be with us in spirit. Our aim is to still finish in the top four and play continnental. we want to achieve something as a team this year,” he concluded.
Jimmy Ndhlovu has been in fine form for Kabwe Warriors in the 2019/20 season scoring 10 goals from 25 games.
