Morocco international, Nordin Amrabat, has tested positive for coronavirus, his club Al-Nassr confirmed on Saturday.
The former Watford Man underwent a PCR test and the results came back positive.
Al-Nassr released a statement, confirming that the 33-year old has tested positive after undergoing a Covid-19 swab test.
“Nordin [Amrabat] will have another COVID-19 swab after it was confirmed that he contracted the coronavirus as the player has not previously shown any symptoms,” Al-Nassr said in a statement.
The Saudi Pro League like all the football competitions was suspended in March following the outbreak of Covid-19. The League is set to resume in August.
Amrabat, a key member of the Morocco squad at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt joined Al-Nassr in July 2018 and won the 2018/19 league title scoring 5 goals in his first season.
Amrabat has played 28 in the 2019/20 scoring four goals and providing nine assists across all competitions.
