South Africa international Jermaine Seoposenwe has signed for Portuguese club Sporting Braga on a two-year deal after her departure from Spanish side Real Betis.
During her six month stay in Betis, Seoposenwe featured in three games before the Primera Iberdrola was interrupted by the coronavirus pandemic and the cancellation of the league afterwards in May.
Sporting Braga won the 2019 Portuguese league. However, they have since lost 17 players and head coach Miguel Santos hopes to make reinforcements as quickly as he can as their pre-season is already underway.
Seoposenwe is delighted with the move and is hoping to hit the ground running.
“I definitely hope to start well, be in touch with the team and fight for all the trophies,” Seoposenwe told the club’s official website.
“That is the focus, working hard to achieve these goals. Liga BPI is a championship with players with a lot of skill and technique.
“I am excited to be on the pitch and start training and playing with my teammates.”
