MSL soccer outfit, New York Red Bull have signed forward Samuel Tetteh from Red Bull Salzburg until the end of the year
The Ghanaian joins the Metro on a six months loan deal with a purchase option.
23-year-old Samuel Tetteh spent one and half year loan with Austrian LASK where he netted 16 times in 64 matches.
He was part of the Ghana’s U20 Men’s soccer team, Black Satellite that reached the round of 16 of the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand.
Samuel Tetteh made his first senior international appearance against Congo on Sept 1, 2015 having substituted Solomon Asante in the 90th minute. On Sept 3, 2016 he scored his first goal for Ghana.
Samuel Tetteh on his Twitter page after joining NY Red Bulls said: “I’m very Excited To Be Joining This Club, i Can’t Wait to Meet up With My New Teammates And Hopefully We Can Achieve Great Things Together ???? #GodIsTheReason @NewYorkRedBulls ?⚪️⚫️.”
Speaking about Samuel Tetteh, Head Coach Chris Armas said:”Samuel is a very interesting attacking player.”
He’s intelligent, he can create on his own and can stretch back lines with his speed. We know that Samuel has big potential and we are excited to get to work with him,”he added
