Kenya Premier League champions Gor Mahia has signed Tito Okello from Ugandan outfit Vipers SC on a three year deal, until August 2023.
Okello won the 2019/20 Ugandan league title with Vipers SC and joins K’Ogalo at a time when the club has witnessed mass exodus of players.
Up to five players have left Gor since the transfer window opened – Harambee Stars defender Joash Onyango (Simba SC), Boniface Omondi and goalkeeper Peter Odhiambo (both Wazito), Tanzanian duo of David Mapigano (Azam) and Dickson Ambudo (Dodoma Jiji FC).
Okello has had stints with Tanzania’s African Lyon, Mbeya City FC, KCCA and Hong Kong side Benfica Makau.
