Mamelodi Sundowns will be looking to bounce back from what was a shocking defeat against Baroka on Sunday.
The end of the 2019/20 season is nearing its end for Pitso Mosimane’s side and the fight for the Championship is still on with six points left on the board.
Next up is another big clash against bottom-placed Polokwane City. Rise and Shine have twenty-five points and have two games left to try and salvage their Premiership status.
Masandawana will travel to Loftus Versfeld Stadium with the aim of picking up maximum points to keep the pace with Kaizer Chiefs who clash with Chippa United.
The last time the two sides clashed the Brazilians came out on top with a one goal victory courtesy of a Sibusiso Vilakazi goal. Polokwane City have gotten the better of Masandawana on two occasions in the past seven clashes between the two sides and have only lost three times.
Polokwane City has not registered a win “in the bubble” but have been scoring goals which makes them a very dangerous side to face as they are in a tough battle to stay up.
Masandawana has played seven games since the resumption of football and recorded three draws, two losses and two wins and is occupying position two with the same number of points with Kaizer Chiefs.
The match takes place on Wednesday evening at Loftus Versfeld with kick-off set for 18:00 CAT (19:00 EAT).
