Kenya Women Premier (KWPL) side Eldoret Falcons FC has confirmed the departure of striker Janet Bundi Moraa to Tanzanian outfit Young Africans (Yanga).
Bundi joins a couple of players who have crossed borders for professional football. Include Harambee Starlets captain Dorcas Shikobe, Wincaate Kaari (Yanga Princesses), and Bertha Omita (Simba).
Eldoret Falcons head coach Johnson Mukhwana acknowledged the departures and is already working on building his squad ahead of the next season.
“We are looking for new players to come in to replace some of the players who’ve left. At least three of them will be in new clubs next season so we also have to sign to fill in the missing slots,” Mukhwana told a local website.
The Uasin Gishu based club lost two Harambee Starlets players early this year. Goalkeeper Annette Kundu and defender Ruth Ingotsi who signed for Lakatamia FC in Cyprus.
