Gambia U20 Coach Abdoulie Bojang says his boys are more relaxed ahead of tomorrow’s match against Zambia after winning beating Tunisia 1-0 in their first game.

And skipper Kajally Drammeh says there will be more celebrations for The Gambia after tomorrow’s game against Zambia.

In a pre-match press conference at Alexandria International Stadium, Bojang says the aim for The Gambia was to secure early qualification to the quarterfinals by beating Zambia.

“We are more relaxed at this point in time because winning our first game and our second game will qualify us to the quarterfinal. We do not have that pressure, but our intention is to win with all due respect to the opponent,” he said.

Bojang said having watched Zambia draw 1-1 with Benin, his side had identified Zambia’s strengths and weaknesses.
“Every game is important, we are going to take game by game, we played with Tunisia we have maximum points in our account, we saw the Zambian team play against Benin so we will try to know where their strengths and weaknesses are,” he said.
“We intend to be very cautious, it is a must not lose game, we will try to win and secure the qualification at an early stage that is the most important thing.”

A confident Bojang said the pressure will be less on his time as compared to Zambia.
“No game will be easy because there is more pressure on Zambia than The Gambia because it is a must win game for them. We must be very cautious and not take them lightly, we also want to seek qualification at the early stage of the competition,” he said.
Meanwhile Drammeh said The Gambia was expecting a win over Zambia.
“We expect more celebration tomorrow in the dressing room after the game,” he said.

Zambia and The Gambia face each other off tomorrow (Friday) in a Group C encounter that kicks off at 19:00 hours (CAT).
The venue for the match may shift to the Haras El Hodod Stadium after one of the losing teams from Group C on match day one protested the state of the Alexandria International Stadium.
