Green Sports Africa in partnership with Mastercard foundation will hold the 2023 edition of the Champions Cup Uganda at ESA Park, Kitubulu, in Katabi Town Council in Wakiso district on Saturday 15th July 2023..
Green Sports Africa organises tournaments with the aim of talent identification and training in various academies before finally providing pro and semi-pro opportunities.
The tournament will showcase intense seven-by-seven matches offering outstanding performers a chance for career advancement in football.
All players will receive training in hygiene, disease prevention, mental well-being, and reproductive health to be held at Victoria Mall, Entebbe on Friday 14th July 2023 from 2pm at the same time verification of players will be done.
The tournament will reward quarter-finalists with complete kits, while the winning team will take home a trophy, gold medals and a cash prize of $600 (about Shs2.2m).

Friday 14th July: Team registration, verification and health training – Kalangala Hall, Best Western Hotel (Victoria Mall)
Saturday 15th July: Group Stages (Morning) – ESA Park, Kitubulu
Saturday, 15th July – Knockout and Finals (Afternoon) -ESA Park, Kitubulu
