Benin coach Rohr recalls five players to face Libya in Afcon Qualifier

Former Nigeria head coach Gernot Rohr has recalled five players ahead of two crucial 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

 

The Cheetahs are set to lock horns with Nigeria on 14 November before meeting Libya four days later in their final two qualifying matches.

 

Serge Obassa, Lenny Pirringuel, David Kiki, Tosin Aiyegun and Ryan Adigo are the five players recalled to the Benin squad as Rohr looks to guide the team to the 2025 AFCON finals.

 

The Cheetahs will need to win both Group D matches to stand a chance of qualifying for the finals to be hosted by Morocco between 21 December 2025 and 18 January 2026.
