Second Round (1st Leg)
Uganda Vs Sudan – Saturday 17th October 2015
Nakivubo Stadium, Kampala (4:00 p.m)
After four days of non residential training at Legends Rugby play grounds and Nakivubo stadium, the Uganda Cranes team composed of home based players is set to have trial matches against local giants Express FC and SC Villa respectively.
The Cranes is to play against Express on Monday 12th October at Mutesa 11 Memorial Stadium Wankulukuku and then another encounter with SC Villa on Wednesday 14th at Nakivubo Stadium.
This was confirmed by the national team’s coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic after Saturday’s training session at Nakivubo stadium.
The coach said that these trial encounters will help in the general evaluation and scrutiny of the players before the game against Sudan on Saturday 17th.
The team is expected to enter residential camp on Tuesday.
The winner of the two legs qualifies for the Championship of African Nations (CHAN) competitions in January 2015 in Rwanda
