Rais wa Shirikisho la soka barani Afrika CAF, Issa Hayatou leo Jumatano aanza rasmi kazi kama rais wa muda wa Shirikisho la soka duniani FIFA jijini Zurich nchini Uswizi.
Hayatou raia wa Cameroon mwenye umri wa miaka 69 anachukua uongozi wa FIFA kwa kipindi cha mpito cha miezi mitatu baada ya Kamati ya nidhamu na maadili kumsimamisha kazi Sepp Blatter kwa tuhma za ufisadi.
Rais huyo wa mpito tayari amesema kuwa hataongeza muda wake madarakani na uchaguzi wa kumpata rais mpya tarehe 26 mwezi Februari mwaka 2016 itasalia kama ilivyopangwa na hatawania wadhifa huo.
Wakati akindoka madarakani juma lililopita, Blatter ambaye anachunguzwa na viongozi wa mashtaka nchini Uswizi aliendelea kukanusha kuhusika na ulaji rushwa na kuishtumu kamati hiyo kuchukua uamuzi huo wa kumsimamisha kazi hata kabla ya kumsikiliza.
Naye mgombea urais wa FIFA, Mwanamflame wa Jordan Ali bin al-Hussein ametaka tarehe ya uchaguzi iliyopangwa isibadilishwe.
Al Hussein ambaye ni naibu rais wa zamani wa FIFA ameongeza kuwa, kutokana na tuhma za ufisadi zinazoendelea kulikumba Shirikisho hilo kwa sasa ni muhimu kwa kiongozi mpya kuchaguliwa haraka iwezekanavyo ili kuanza kufanya mabadiliko.
Mwezi Septemba Al Hussein mwenye umri wa miaka 39 alitangaza kuwania urais wa FIFA baada ya Sepp Blatter kutangaza kuwa alikuwa anajiuzulu.
