Coach Francis Kimanzi has stepped aside as Tusker FC tactician due to poor performance.
Confirming the development,Tusker FC chairman James Musyoki said it was Kimanzi’s decision to do so and the management did not influence it.
“Kimanzi has not resigned but stepped aside. He says he has been working under hard and not getting the results. So, he has opted to step aside.” James said.
His assistant Leonard Odipo is expected to assume the hot seat in the meantime as they prepare to tackle high riding Gor Mahia in the KPL TOP 8 on Saturday 17.
Under Kimanzi the Brewers have had a dismal two seasons, failing to clinch any major trophy locally – they are so far out of contention for the league crown and the GoTV shield after being knocked out by second tier league side Nzoia Sugar FC over the weekend.
