Saturday 7th November 2015
SC Villa Jogoo Vs Express – Nakivubo Stadium (4:00 p.m)
The much anticipated but later called off Sports Club Villa Jogoo vs Express Football Club has been re-scheduled on Saturday 7th of November 2015.
The match was postponed because of a water logged pitch at Nakivubo stadium that followed a Friday afternoon heavy downpours across Kampala city.
Despite all efforts by fans coupled with stadium management to manually clear the water off the pitch, it remained unplayable something that forced referee Brian Miiro Nsubuga to call off the game.
Before the collapse of the fixture, the Red Eagles were on top of the league table but it is unlikely that it will be the case on Saturday since the two title favorites KCCA and Vipers reclaimed their joint top spot yesterday with 1-2 identical victories.
It is again left to see how the hosts will the fans that had already paid for the game before it was ‘washed’ out.
But before the two sides meet on Saturday, Express FC will host Soana at Wankulukuku while Villa travels to Bugembe to faceoff with Sadolin Paints on Tuesday.
Similarly, new dates have been set for the games which had been earlier postponed because of the CHAN Uganda Cranes preparations for the home and away matches against Sudan in October.
Vipers vs Police will now be played on 6th November 2015 at Buikwe while KCCA FC host Bright Stars at Nakivubo stadium on the same day.
Friday 6th November, 2015: Vipers vs Police -Buikwe 4.30pm
