Rwanda and Gor Mahia left full back Abouba Sibomana clocked ninety minutes in national colors as Amavubi went down 1-0 to Libya on Friday 13. Faisal Saleh scored the only goal of the match from a bitterly constested penalty in the 48th minute.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifier was played at Stade Olympique Du Sousse in Tunisia.

Sibomana was returning to action since September when he picked a knew injury while on duty for the national side against Ghana in the AFCON 2017 Qualifiers.

He however came off for Fitina Omborenga in the 90th minute.

The long layoff saw him miss crucial matches for club as the invincible back to back Kenyan Champions truggled to make do without his invaluable contributions. The news of his return will definitely be a welcome one for Gor Mahia who are still hunting for more honors in the Kenya Cup.
