Football Kenya Federation has released fixtures and dates for the 2015 GOtv Shield semifinals and final.
According to the fixtures released by FKF Secretary General Michael Esakwa, the action is set to resume after a break with Nakumatt facing Gor Mahia in the second semifinal match scheduled Wednesday at the MISC Kasarani starting 1500H.
The winner between Nakumatt and Gor Mahia in the match will clash with Bandari FC in the tournament finals set for Sunday starting 1500H at the same venue.
The final will however be preceded by third/fourth pay off match between Muhoroni Youth and the loser in the semifinals tie between Nakumat and Gor Mahia and shall be played starting 1345H.
Muhoroni Youth lost to Bandari FC during the first semi-final played in Nairobi three weeks ago to make it to the finals of the annual tournament.
The third/fourth placed teams as well as the finalist will be awarded medals and the winner will receive GOtv Shield while the eventual winner earns a ticket to participate in the Caf Confederations Cup for the 2016 season.
Gor Mahia however will be featuring in the lucrative Caf Champions league after clinching the Sports Pesa Premier League, meaning if they make it to the finals, then their opponents, whether they win or lose will enter the Confederations Cup.
