This was head coach George Lwandamina’s second loss in the tournament.
They lost 4-0 at the hands of moneybags Azam before falling to rivals Simba in the semi finals
The loss caused a huge media and social media outcry with a section of fans calling for the resignation of the Zambian coach.
Rumours were first spreading in the social media that Lwandamina was fired and his place taken by his assistant
However Young African Sports Club have denied the news spreading in social media that they sacked their Zambian Coach George Lwandamina
The club information and communication department revealed Lwandamina will remain as head coach until the end of his contract
Simba will meet Azam in the final of the mapinduzi cup today
