The Super Eagles striker Aaron Samuel is in the frame to make his debut in group stage of the Champions League when CSKA Moscow face Portuguese side Benfica on Tuesday night.

The Nigeria international was one of players that trained with the first team of the on Monday , fueling speculation that manager Viktor Goncharenko will give him a run out at the Benfica Stadium tommorrow.

Samuel was a non-playing substitute in the qualifying round of the Champions League but did duty in playoff games aganist Young Boys but has never played in the Champions League group stage.

A total of 19 CSKA players, including Samuel, flew to Portugal, where they will face SL Benfica on Tuesday at 21:45 (Moscow time), writes the official website of the Russian Premier League side.
