Abdi Qani Said elected new Somali football federation President

Long serving Somalia football federation secretary general Abdi Qani Said Arab elected as SFF president in very peaceful elections held on Sunday afternoon.

Abdi Qani sweeped his closest challenger to be announced the winner in the closely contested elections which ushered in a new team that will oversee the transition at the federation which has been striving hard to make head ways despite violence in the country.

The new president elect addressed t the congress and as a full full report about the election and the names of the elected executive committee members was awaited.
