A second Absa Premiership coach has lost his job after this past weekend’s results.
Following AmaZulu’s 1-1 draw with Golden Arrows at the weekend – a result which has left the Durban-based side at the bottom of the log with no win after five matches – coach Cavin Johnson has been relieved of his duties as confirmed by the club.
“AmaZulu FC and Cavin Johnson terminate working relationship. The board of directors of AmaZulu FC have reached a decision to release head coach, Cavin Johnson from his contract with immediate effect,” confirmed AmaZulu on Twitter.
Earlier, Chippa United relieved Clinton Larsen of his duties as the coach of the side after the Eastern Cape side lost to Orlando Pirates on the weekend.
