Ghana’s Accra Hearts of Oak have sacked former Gor Mahia coach Frank Nuttall following recommendations of a club’s committee that was tasked to investigate his conduct.
The three-man committee also recommended that Nuttall refunds $56,000 transfer fee he unethically received from sale of players.
On Tuesday, the club’s board indefinitely suspended the 48-year-old former Zamalek SC assistant coach over “unsporting” and “unethical” behaviors.

Apart from selling players behind the club’s back, the Scotsman was also accused of having a poor working relationship with his staff and players and condescending attitude towards management according to close sources.
Nuttall admitted to the misdeeds during the board’s hearing Monday according to an official statement from the club.
Meanwhile, Henry Wellington has been confirmed the new head coach on an interim basis.
He will be assisted by Edward Nii Odoom, a former Tema Youth coach.
