Zambia’s “Chipolopolo” vice captain Nathan Sinkala has cautioned against under rating their next opponent in the AFCON 2017 qualifiers, Kenya.
Zambia travels to Nairobi Kenya next month for the “Harambee Stars” tie against the backdrop of a frustrating barren draw against Guinea Bissau in their opening match of group “E”played in the month of June, and Nathan is calling for proper preparations ahead of the trip to East Africa.
“It is going to be a tough game, we have to prepare well. In football there is no small team,” Sinkala said from his Congo base where he turns out for Lubumbashi heavyweights TP Mazembe.
“We did not expect to draw with Guinea at home, that tells we must work extra hard and get the three points that we lost in that game.” He added.
Kenya who last featured in the continental showpiece in 2004 drew 1-1 with Congo Brazzaville; they boast of a good squad which includes skipper Victor Mugubi Wanyama who plies his trade in England with Southampton FC and David Owino who features for Zambian champions Zesco United.
