Confederation of African Football (CAF) has this afternoon presented the new official ball for the Total Africa Cup of Nations that will be kick off tomorrow in Liberville, Gabon.

Designed by Adidas the ball creativity takes inspiration from the intricate history of the tournament and the action that the passionate fans are expected to witness all put into perfect colours of art.

Its distinctive green, black and yellow colouring on the ball represents the contrasting landscapes of the continent.

Though CAF did not explain if the ball has gone through a thorough testing process to make sure that it is suited to the playing conditions during the tournament, the Adidas technology incorporated into the bladder and carcass of the ball is undoubted in all the years it has been into the business.

The Official Match Ball for the Total Africa Cup of Nations, Gabon 2017 is expectes to be available to buy at selected Adidas retail outlets and associated stockists as it has been a norm when official ball is launched.
