Zimbabwe coach Calisto Pasuwa says they are not scared of Algeria as they prepare to face off in opening Group B match of Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
Pasuwa revealed on Friday during an interview with a section of Zimbabwe press that he has lots of respect for Algeria but they should not underrate his boys.
“The fact that All the teams (in the group) were top spot in their group ,people can underrate us but we are going there to compete ,we didn’t come here to add numbers.
“We are taking each game as it comes and we want to use this platform for Zimbabwean to showcase their talent
“We respect for each team and would not underrate any side but enter each match with a positive attitude,” said Pasuwa.
Sunday’s match will be a key match for both sets of fans are anticipating a good opening match.
Having never past group stages in the continent most prestigious tournament, Zimbabwe will be looking to make history after spending a decade in the football wilderness.
