Uganda Cranes head Coach Milutin “Micho” Sredojevic on Thursday, August 27, released provisional team to do duty away to Comoros in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers next month.

In the 20-man squad which comprises both domestic and foreign based pros, are Gor Mahia duo of midfielder Khalid Aucho and left full back Godfrey “Wazza” Walusimbi.

The two have been regulars for the Kenyan Premier League side who are on course to defending their crown for the third time in a row. Khalid has had a superb first season with the champions and boasts of two league goals thus far, he is taunted to walk way with SPL midfielder of the year award at the end of the 2015 season.

Khalid and Walusimbi also called “Jaja Valu” were also instrumental in K’Ogalo’s fairy tale run at this year’s CECAFA Kagame cup in Dar finishing second to Azam FC of Tanzania.

They were part of the Cranes team that beat Botswana 2-0 in their opening group “D” match of the qualifiers in June.

Also in the squad is midfielder Yasser Mugwerwa who penned a three deal with PSL heavyweights Orlando Pirates this week.
