Guinea Bissau coach Baciro Cande has revealed he is planning to make a revolution in his starting line-up ahead of 2017 Africa Cup of Nations group A match against Cameroon on Wednesday.
Commonly known as Mister Cande, the coach confirmed this after the last training session promising to overhaul midfield and defensive line though he did not specify the players who will join his starting eleven.
“It is just minor changes, i need to refresh the players, because this is a big competition, we have little time to rest time and i need to care about the players, we have to refresh the playing unit”, said Candé
And when pressed to reveal about any possible interference in the line-up on the first eleven that played in the first game, Candé regarded the allegations as baseless.
“Never! No one even the President of the Republic can interfere with my ideas, therefore the person in charge of the national team is me, I am that I put it through my technical team, I ask for opinion but the last decision is up to me so if there is this news, it is false … I think I am suitable, I have been a coach for many years,” he concluded.
