DR Congo’s final 23-man squad for the 31st edition of the Africa Cup of Nations to be held in Gabon will be revealed after today’s friendly against Cameroon at Stadium Ominsports, Yaoundé.
A provisional side has been camping at the CAF Center of Excellence, Mbakomo, Cameroon since the New Year’s Eve, and will be completed with the arrival of Hull City’s forward Mbokani Bezua Dieumerci ahead of the warm-up.
More European based stars have since trooped in to team-up with the initial 8-homebased professionals who traveled to Mbakomo December 31, 2016.
They include England based Gabriel Zakuani (Peterborough, England), Maghoma Jacques (Birmingham, England), Botaka Jordan (Charlton, England), Neeskens Kebano (Fulham, England) and Fabrice N’Sakala (Alanyaspor, Turkey).

Head Coach Florent Ibenge will make do without injured Everton’s forward Yannick Bolasie and his would be replacement Benik Afobe who declined the call up to concentrate with his Premier League side AFCB Bournemouth.
Les Leopards are pooled in group “C” alongside Ivory Coast, Morocco and Togo; they will kick-start their campaign January 16th against Morocco at Stade d’Oyem, Oyem.
