After 9 long hours flight from Nairobi in a privately chattered plane, Kenya’s senior football team “Harambee Stars” have landed safe and sound in Guinea Bissau.
Stars touched down at Osvaldo Viera Airport in the capital Bissau on Monday evening.
The arrival was confirmed by Football Kenya Federation (FKF) president Nick Mwendwa on his Twitter timeline.

Sweden based striker Michael Olunga was the first foreign based player to arrive for the Wednesday 23 AFCON 2017 qualifier match. Olunga plays for Sweden top side Djurgardene; the rest of the legion (7) lead by the skipper and Southermpton’s midfielder Victor Wanyama are expected on Tuesday 21.
