Mali will be without midfielder Adama Traore and goalkeeper Soumalia Diakite for todays Africa Cup of Nations Group D match at Stade d’Port-Gentil due to injuries.
According to Mali national team coach Alian Giresse the two players will not be available for selection for the match aganist Ghana as they have not been able to make into training prior to the match.
“Without both having participated in a single training with the team for nearlly a week, they are not in my plans for today game because they are not fit for me game,” said Giresse in an interview with an online portal Footmali.
Adama Traore who plays for AS Monaco seems to have suffered a knock before joining to the camp.
Diakite picked an injury before the match against Egypt and was dropped from the starting line-up against the Pharaohs.
