Super Eagles head Coach Sunday Oliseh today Friday, August 7,2015 released a team of 23 local based players to start preparations for the AFCON 2017 qualifier match away to Tanzania in September.
In the squad is Warri Wolves’ forward Gbolahan who scored in the Eagles’ 2-0 win over CHAD, plus a number of U23 national team players.
Nigeria Premier League golden boot contender Tunde Adeniji of Sunshine Stars is among the new faces in the Oliseh’s preliminary squad.
The players are expected to report to camp in Abuja on Monday, 17 August. They will later be joined by foreign based pros, who will fly directly to Tanzania for the clash slated for Saturday, September 5 at the National Stadium.
