Bright Stars will visit Nuevo Estadio de Malabo , Malabo for their final AFCON 2017 group “C” qualifier against hosts Equatorial Guinea September 4.
Since traditional home color of the “National Thunder” is all red same as Bright Stars’ away’s, the South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) and their kitting partner AMS Clothing of Australia have unveiled an alternative “Green” uniform for the fixture.
“We understand that red is the usual away colour, however we needed to choose an alternative due to the colour clash with Equatorial Guinea, who will be wearing red as their home colour.” SSFA statement clarified.
AMS Clothing explained the shirt was designed in consultation with national team players.
