AFCON 2017: Sunday Oliseh proposes 18-foreign based pros for Tanzania match.

Newly appointed Super Eagles Coach Sunday Oliseh has proposed a squad of 18-foreign and five locally based players for AFCON 2017 qualifier match away to Tanzania in Dar Es Salaam in September.

Oliseh who is in Europe monitoring the progress of some of the players he will use for the national duty is expected back in Nigeria on August 14, to open Eagles’ camp in Abuja on Sunday,August 16.

The camp will consist of domestic league players with the foreign pros expected to fly directly to Tanzania for the match.

Nigeria opened their campaign on a high beating Chad 2-0 at home – they are second in group “G” behind seven times champions Egypt who thrashed Tanzania 3-0. The first leg matches were played in June,2015.
