Uganda Cranes held their last training on Wednesday, September 2 evening at the FUFA technical center, Njeru. Head Coach Milutin Sredojevic used the opportunity to trim the initial 23 man squad to the final 18 for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier away to Comoros on Saturday 5.
Those who made the final cut includes KCCA left full back Joseph Ochaya, Gor Mahia duo of Khalid Aucho and Godfrey Walusimbi. Tonny Mawejje who made a return to the team after along break also made the squad.
The team will be accompanied by nine officials headed by FUFA president Eng. Moses Magogo – they depart Kampala via Nairobi aboard Kenya Airways flight this morning at 10AM for Moroni,Comoros.
The match will be staged at the Mitsamiouli Stadium, 40KM north of Moroni.
