The Desert Foxes have qualified to the last 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations after a 1-0 victory over Senegal at the 30 June Stadium on Thursday night.
Youcef Belaili scored a second half goal after a lovely cutback by Sofiane Feghouli on the right wing.
The match was characterized by physical play from both sides. Sadio Mane who missed the previous match started for Senegal but failed to make any sort of impact on the game.
Riyad Mahrez on the other hand also had a fairly quiet game. It was his teammate Youcef Belaili who blasted home the winner in the 49th minute.
Senegal almost equalised with the final action of the game, with Mane heading over from close range.
Senegal must now beat Kenya in their final group game to be guaranteed a place in the knockout stages.
